Refund policy

TERMS OF RETURN POLICY


THE NYCLUXE offers a return policy for jewelry and preowned luxury piece and other accessories purchased from us.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

 

Please note the following requirements to make use of the policy:

A request for a return for a refund must be made within 3 business days of the date of delivery by the shipper to the Customer.

Customer is responsible for the cost of fully insured shipping back to THE NYCLUXE in any return shipments, whether for refund, exchange, or store credit.

All items returned must arrive back to THE NYCLUXE in the same condition in which they were received by the Customer and include any security tags or factory stickers that were attached.


Items returned for an exchange or refund that are not returned in the same condition as Customer received it in will result in a restoring/refurbishing fee of up to 30% as a deduction from the refund amount or a reduction from an exchange credit.


Customers may return for a refund or exchange bags, jewelry, watches and accessories, subject to the terms and condition set forth in this Return Policy.

THE NYCLUXE sells its items with security tags and/or factory stickers. These must be in place when an item is received by THE NYCLUXE for return. If tags or stickers are not in place, a refund, exchange, or store credit will be made only subject to Customer’s payment by deduction from a refund, exchange, or store credit of a $300 usage fee, in addition to any other costs or fees associated with the return or exchange.

Restocking Fees


Whether the item has been shipped or not, all items purchased are subject to a 20% percent restocking fee. 

Items purchased through PayPal will be subject to a 5% Merchant Fee in addition to other costs and fees related to return, when an item is returned for refund or exchange.

Layaway 

Items purchased under a layaway program cannot be returned for a refund. They can be only exchanged, returned for a store credit or a combination of an exchange, store credit and down payment is non refundable


Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Items returned for an exchange or refund that are not returned in the same condition as Customer received it in will result in a restoring/refurbishing fee of up to 30% as a deduction from the refund amount or a reduction from an exchange credit.


Exchanges

Exchange credits and store credits will be in the amount of the initial purchase, less applicable deductions. THE NYCLUXE will not provide cash refunds on exchanges of items for items of a lower cost. THE NYCLUXE reserves the right to decline to offer refunds or exchanges beyond one incident of return for exchange or refund.


Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.


Custom

“Custom” items cannot be returned for a refund but can be exchanged or store credit will be provided. Note that “custom” items are not “personalized” items. Personalized include items such as engraved merchandise, picture pendants, etc.

A “business day” under this policy means Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays.

Please note that shipping and insurance fees will be shouldered by the buyer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
